  • Conducted psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and their families as part of outpatient services and within court-mandated youth offender program.

  • Worked individually and collaboratively, as part of a multidisciplinary team, in the provision of counseling/therapy to children, adolescents, and families in an outpatient setting.  

  • Areas of expertise include treatment of ADHD, aggressive and oppositional behavior, parental management of difficult behaviors, child/adolescent development, family conflict, affective disorders, behavioral disorders, and eating disorders. 

  • Facilitated educational and treatment groups: separation/divorce for children, anger management for adolescents, coping skills for adolescent girls, parenting skills, and parenting skills for addressing adolescents with eating disorders.

  • Provided counseling to adolescents and consultation to staff 5 hours each week at a local Catholic high school; training to high school staff regarding assessment and intervention with depressed and suicidal adolescents; and intensive training in peer mediation and conflict resolution to grade 5-8 students and staff at a local public school.

  • Presented information on ADHD, stress management in children, eating disorders, peer sexual harassment/abuse, difficult to manage behaviors in the school setting, connecting schools and community resources, school staff morale, and personality disorders.

  • Provided intake and case screening for the consulting child and adolescent psychiatrist.  

  • Participated in research projects including one to assess victimization in public schools.
