Day 25 - Corner? Pendulum?

Turned the corner? Pendulum has swung? Pick your metaphor. My throat hurts!

Dr. Sood said I am doing really well today, the end of week 5, especially given Covid's unwelcomed entry into the equation. When I mentioned that I'd like to consider pain meds, Dr. Sood agreed that it is time (also referencing how well I have done up to now managing with just gabapentin and tylenol).

Tomorrow marks the beginning of week six. I have a virtual consult with pain management folks first thing in the morning. Because Oxy does nothing to pain for me, whoever I am seeing will consider other options.
