Day 9 - Double-bagger

Double-bagger. LOL. For chemo it is always a three-bagger (as you can see in the photo). My goofy title is a bad reference to the fact I had both chemo and radiation today.

The IV was a one-and-done event. Yay! Now we have to see if the chemo aggravates the life out of the veins and tissue in my arm again. If so, there may be some serious changes to my cocktail and/or the need for a port (that I have fought against thus far).

Radiation is radiation. It is about 8 minutes. Today I asked for G N'R on the playlist. Of course, Sweet Child O' Mine was first, followed by Paradise City. No surprise there. I thought it would be funny if Mr. Brownstone played (song written about the band members' addiction to heroin) given that I just came out of chemo.

This is my blog so I can say what I want (which I pretty much do anyway). There's a cute radiation therapist on my team. I'll never say anything to her but I sure as shit can say it here! But, in the end, it doesn't matter. All the drugs and treatments scared my libido so much that it ran away. It is gone. It sent me a postcard from the beach in Morocco. Jerk!
